LGBT activists are calling for the resignation of a Texas city councilwoman after a secret recording capturing her making several anti-gay remarks was leaked to the media late Thursday night.
Gathering on the steps of City Hall on Friday afternoon, angered activists said comments made by council member Elisa Chan were hurtful and clamored for her immediate resignation, according to the Current.
“I was sad—after our talks, to know what was really in her heart…[And that sadness] turned to anger,” Dan Graney, co-chair of the Community Alliance for a United San Antonio reportedly said. “Now, she really needs to step down from council.”

Yep, this is where we are now. You can’t even say you support traditional marriage anymore without being considered a bigot. You can’t say anything about the homosexual agenda anymore. Big whup. If you didn’t vote for Obama, you are already considered a bigot. If you just say, “so what?”, being called a bigot has no real power, since the accusation is such a joke. The real power it has is getting people to change behavior they would never normally change, because they are afraid of being called a bigot.

My only question is why the duplicity? Why did she tell the homos one thing during their “talks,” then say something else behind closed doors? Why not just confront them honestly and go on record as opposing their perverse agenda? Is she ashamed or intimidated by them? If so, maybe she SHOULD be removed. We don’t need any more quislings.
