CANTEEN.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Star, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities.
Now THAT is what makes one a hero.
Excuse me while I get on my soap box.
What John R. Fox did is what makes one a hero.
Knowing the dangers, but still going anyway.
Not movie stars or football players or musicians...
UNLESS they too have run into
a burning building
jumped in a raging river
jumped out of a helo
to save someone else.
I'm tired of people who use the word Hero so lightly these days.
It's taking away from those who really are.
That is all (stepping down).
DC Metroland weather report

Oh great! I can tell it's Monday.
Computer or network or something
is already giving me problems.
It may take all morning to post this thing.
We did get some much needed rain yesterday.
And it's a chilly morning
but I'm going out for a walk since it's not raining at the moment.
But please stay right where you are.
Chat up the military or a family member.
No need to fret...you know I'll be back!
The FR Canteen is
Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. How’s it going?
Bleech, just can't wake-up this morning; short weekend and too much to do at work.
I agree with you regarding the "Hero" usage, way too over used.
Two weeks til school starts, hope we're ready!
Better scoot, have a mahvelous day!
