On Saturday about 300 teens got the chance to voice their opinion of the George Zimmerman trial at the first annual 'Teen Summit' at the Beulah Baptist Institutional Church in Tampa.
They discussed everything from clarification on the law to what self-defense means.
Many of the young people at the summit said they came out to the event because what happened to Trayvon Martin couldve happened to them.
One teen said he wanted to find out more about Zimmermans acquittal.
At first I didnt get it. I didnt understand the concept of it. And then once I looked into the case I saw that some things did make it seem not guilty and some things make it look like wow it looks like hes guilty," said 16-year-old Bryan Walker.
Trayvon Martin family attorney, Natalie Jackson and other legal experts were on hand to answer many of the teens questions.
Its hurtful to a lot of black and brown children who are like what do we do. What did he do wrong. And Im here to tell them he didnt do anything wrong and you didnt do anything wrong it is the perception we have to change with people, Jackson said....

Did ANYONE even MENTION that you shouldn't go around stealing from people, and when confronted, don't try to bash his skull into the pavement when he may be a CCW Permit Holder, and fight back?
Wrong color 2nddivvet. (Just guessin’ here of course.) I’m sure most of those in attendance understood that a white guy killed an innocent black altar boy for no reason. Exactly the same as the Emmett Till case. Just ask okra.
I saw the the all-black church, the all-black audience, and said “WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED?”

Was there anyone from the other side of the “fence” invited or was this just a snow job?
I think Mark Omara and Don West would have may have balanced the, first annual ‘Teen Summit’ .
Was the Social Engineer, Jasmine Rand, in attendance? I need pictures.
TRANSLATION: They like to @$$-whoop creepy-@$$ crackah rapists.
“It could have been me who jumped on a creepy -— cracka” he says “It could happen to anyone, just out of the blue jump a cracka!”
Freakin’ communists. Always screwing with the heads of the young skulls full of mush. Somebody needs to go to jail. This is nothing but more hate aimed at America from the communists.
That’s 300?
I suspect everyone went out for Arizona and skittles.
I have an idea ... let's get the kids discussing Saudi Arabian billionaires and their influence on young men ... probably their own classmates ... right there beside you, honey .... to commit violence against them.
Ya but ... the pulpit area is cracka white.
OMG...they are all BLACK!!! Who knew!
I count about 100 people in that photo and about half of them are adults.
These “churches” are nothing more than arms of the Democrat party. They are not even subtle anymore.
No doubt these people in attendance are all community organizers and wanna-be community organizers along with assorted Dem bureaucrats. How many of them are receiving our tax money for their “activism”. What a racket.
Sounds like a public service was performed, one that happens too rarely. Like the old public hangings on the courthouse square (done in Texas until the 1930's) where a concerned adult guardian could say "That could be you if you continue to be a little wanna-be thug."
“Trayvon Martin family attorney, Natalie Jackson and other legal experts were on hand to answer many of the teens questions.”
Looks like Jackson’s working the chitlin circuit.
Wow, they must be pretty violent kids then. Do they usually attempt to murder someone who walks in their general direction for a block?
