In an online missive posted just hours after the crash, Bucchere expressed little remorse for his behavior. His irreverent account focused instead on his broken helmet, his own relatively minor injuries and the police seizure of his bike.
S.F. bicyclist in fatal crash may face felony
But before that, a motorist reported seeing Bucchere fly through several red lights and stop signs along Divisadero Street leading up to the intersection, said police Capt. Denis O'Leary, head of the hit-and-run detail that investigated the collision.
What a sweetheart deal!
Fatso should've been convicted of a felony.
At a park I walk in a public park frequently, and as a result of many encounters have developed a theory.
The bicycle seat pushes directly up on a person’s anal area. Normally this is only a minor annoyance and may lead to some chaffing. However in some cases, this is also where the person’s brain is located and the results are to make them even dumber than they are normally.
Many of these people also wear helmets, which is a waste of money and time since there is obviously nothing worth protecting underneath the helmet.
I’m a cyclist, but I sure couldn’t be as nice to this jackwagon as the victims family is. I’d lock his ass up for at least a couple of years.
Plea Bargaining is bullshit....if you commit a crime, you pay for it to the full extent of the Law. Yes; there’s a risk to go to an OJ Jury but there is NO WAY criminals should be allowed to walk away with a slap on the wrist, when the victim has been killed or mutilated or rendered vegetative.
Second, Lawyers who are appointed by the State should NOT be allowed to Plea Bargain, period.
