Actually I think there is some self-deportation going on. U.S. GDP growth is an anemic 2%. Mexico is expecting 4% and perhaps 7% next year.

There can never be effective immigration legislation. As long as there is hunger, miserable poverty and repression on one side and relative prosperity on the other, human beings will cross borders despite the laws or risks to improve their lot. That is understandable. What is not understandable is why once here and convicted of a felony, there is not a consensus to deport them immediately after finishing their prison term.

I live in VA and will support Cuccinelli, Jackson and Obenshain...but these guys are definately exceptions. Scott Rigell is my Congressman...he can go to hell. He has publicly refused to Endorse Jackson because of Jackson's pro life statements and statements condemning Palnned Parenthood so as soon as I read that I informed him that not only would I NOT vote for him, I may vote for the democrat because at least with a democrat you know going in that the guy is no good lying, back stabbing son of a bitch. With republicans like him you only find out later.
