CAIRO - Dozens of deaths were reported as clashes broke out during mass demonstrations by supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi in Egypt Friday.
Morsi's Islamist Muslim Brotherhood movement had called for a

The American Spring will be next.
It becomes increasingly evident that Egypt needs a strict heavy handed military dictatorship. When given the opportunity Muslims head straight to the Christian churches with their torches! Instead of admonishing the Egyptian military Obama and the US govt should be cheering on their crackdown against the damned Muslim Brotherhood lunatics !
Or better yet just stay the hell out of it.
But oh dear God. Where is Obama when he’s needed on the world stage?
Here is what must be done now to avoid World War 3:
1. Have Obama go to the United Nations and address the “People of the World.”
2. Have Obama go to Cairo again, TODAY, NOW, and address the “People of the Arab World,” just like he did in 2008.
3. Have Obama remind them that the inspiration for the Arab Spring was his 2008 Hope and Change campaign.
4. Have Obama send the person who told him to get on TV and claim credit for all this, before he knew how it was going to turn out, to Siberia.
5. Go on Jay Leno, get Steve Martin to join you, and sing “King Tut” with him in honor of the 35th Anniversary of this mega hit. WHO could have imagined the song would have been so relevant after all these years?
In his Tempurpedic with Reggie??
HA! Nice...
Oh one day of rage is the same as another when youre an Islamist...
The radical Islamists will never understand that their so-called “democratically installed” President Morsi was more of a dictator (Islamo-fascist style) than was his deposed predecessor.
Of course the Brotherhood supporters will be pissed off. They see their man as being UNJUSTLY deposed. But did they ever see their newly installed “Sharia Law” government as being more suppressive to all but the “true believers”?
Of course not, and therein lies the real problem. There will never be peace in the world with these people.
I saw a photo somewhere of a group of Muslims praying for protection against the Muslim Brotherhood.
Hmm.. this really IS a Civil War, and it is fascinating me to see the separation of Muslims from Islamists.
Americans find this so difficult to understand, but it is eye opening to see this war, in the ME AGAINST the Muslim Brotherhood.
I am starting to see that they are no different from our street gangs led by the Al Sharptons of the world.
Same garbage, control, domination, unjust society, greed, lust, lies, filth- different country.
Best way to celebrate this day of rage a second extended day would be a repeat of another 600. Wanna go for A third? then a three-peat!
“Honey, don’t forget to take Friday off; its the “Day of Rage” day.”
Lol...
"Oh...and I hear there's a 'Million Hoodie March' to attend as well. Oh, goodie, Sweetie -- TWO days off!!"
Like the Viet Minh commander said: “Kill all they send.”
When do we get our day of “rage” for what is happening here?
One of our non-political generals stated in regards to fighting islamists, “Is this a great war or what? They want to die and we want to kill them.”
Freaky Friday
“Hmm.. this really IS a Civil War, and it is fascinating me to see the separation of Muslims from Islamists.”
The number of Freepers that don’t understand the difference is astounding.
Most Muslims in Egypt are not stuck in the 7th century because they are somewhat educated and they used to have a future. This was the same for the Syrians. And too many are forgetting there are a lot of Christians and even Jews in Syria and Egypt who are targets for the MB and AlQaida. Mubarak and AlAssad kept these groups from attacking others with that iron fist. The situation was not the best but it was a lot better than it is now.
The MB in Egypt and Al Qaida in Syria (basically the same people) exploit the poor and stupid for personal power, just like the race baiters and Socialists do in this country. Egypt is our future if we don’t hold the government to Constitutional standards.
Firing into the air" Joe Biden-style.
Good comment. I understand the difference.
