I think the decision is clearly unconstitutional. One of the purposes of the right to bear arms is the right to self-defense, and a gun is pretty much worthless for self-defense until it is loaded. This ruling is equivalent to saying that the 1st Amendment protects all speech except speech critical of the government.
Unlike rodeo clowns, “judge” clowns don’t wear Obama masks when they’re goofing off and pulling their antics.

Years ago, CA decided that you could Open Carry only if the Gun was unloaded.
Last year, CA decided that Open Carry is Illegal.
Now, CA is passing Laws banning Rifles with “removable” Magazines and is “registering” people who buy Ammo.
Drip, drip, drip. Too bad about Oregon.
Guess we won’t go up to Portland any more.

I believe Balmy (not the weather kind) Portland is the city wherein, not long ago, an armed man duly permitted to carry concealed put a stop to a shooting rampage in a shopping mall by putting the mad shooter down.
Apparently the Ruling Blind Mice didn’t appreciate that outcome.

A city of Portland ordinance that prohibits CARRYING loaded guns in public places does not violate a person's right to BEAR arms,

Here’s a synopsis. This defendant dropped a bag o concealed guns, some loaded, inside a store and left them to go squat outside. More weapons and ammo concealed on his person. No concealed carry permit. The Portland city ordinance in question has ample exceptions built into it (including concealed carry permittees, hunters and fishers on the way to or from hunting and fishing, folks going to and from target shooting, and anyone else permitted by law to carry for self defense purposes).
Lets not overreact.
We are told NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few fringe lunatics, but ...we are encouraged TO judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.
