Excuse me, mr robber, I must load my firearm. Would you give me a fair chance?
so the guards and police in public locations in Portland won’t have loaded weapons.... right?

The moron judge should get a dictionary
A city of Portland ordinance that prohibits CARRYING loaded guns in public places does not violate a person's right to BEAR arms,
1887 Webster`s Dictionary:
"to bear, bear v.t., 1. to support and move; or CARRY"
The young man who stopped the shopping mall shooter in Oregon.....that happened just days before Sandy Hook last December.
The shooter saw the young conceal carry guy aiming a firearm at him. The shooter stopped shooting, then ran off and shot himself.

Here’s a synopsis. This defendant dropped a bag o concealed guns, some loaded, inside a store and left them to go squat outside. More weapons and ammo concealed on his person. No concealed carry permit. The Portland city ordinance in question has ample exceptions built into it (including concealed carry permittees, hunters and fishers on the way to or from hunting and fishing, folks going to and from target shooting, and anyone else permitted by law to carry for self defense purposes).
Lets not overreact.
Good question!
And when people dial 911 to report shooting, they'll have to bear in mind that judges are already declaring that citizens have no constitutional right to police protection.
We Have No Constitutional Right To Police Protection
But this is undoubtedly because the Founding States had made the 2nd Amendment to make it clear that citizens are responsible for policing themselves.
And speaking of Portland, OR, its' been less than a year since a gunner killed himself and 2 others in a mall outside Portland.
3 dead in Oregon mall shooting
If a round is not in the pipe, how can it be described as loaded?
Lets not overreact.
Killjoy. Your synopsis took all the fun out of this thread.
We are told NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few fringe lunatics, but ...we are encouraged TO judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.
