That was the myth, but not the reality. GWB was the pre-Obama. Most of his policies were similar to Obama's, and the rest were just setting up for Obama. He even came out a few weeks ago and said the people against gay marriage were evil.
Bush supported a ban on homosexual marriage in 2004. In July, he was asked about his position on homo-marriage and declined to answer other than saying people should not judge other people’s motives. I didn’t read where he supported homo marriage and called anti-homo marriage people (like me) evil. Maybe you can supply the source.
