He isn’t embracing anybody.

He's "embracing" sin and advocating no apologies or remorse for it. That is fundamentally un-"Christian."

Religion is a personal matter. He can be Christian and recognize that not everyone else is so they don’t have to live by the same rules.

News flash: not everyone is Christian.
