I’m sure that if I had walked into that store in Switzerland, and asked to see the same bag, the sales lady would have taken one look at white, middle class, average-sized me and snootily chased me off, too.

back in the day I walked into the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks Ca out in Westlake.....A breathtaking golf course for private members and Tiger has his tournament there every year.....and I was a resident of Lake Sherwood !!!
Anyway....I had a double breasted raw silk suit jacket, 300 bucks worth of britches , shirt and tie and new 400 bucks shoes on....I enter a very large room and center back was a standin podium where a well to do bluehair appeared to greet me
she looked me up and down and paused and said....well you clearly don’t belong here....how could I possibly help you ?
