MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Twenty-six-year-old Raymond Widstrand was walking on Payne Avenue Sunday evening when he came across a large group of people, who were watching a fight.
Police say it happened Aug. 4, 2013, at about 11:30 p.m. When police arrived, Widstrand was on the ground with his legs and arms spread out. Blood was coming from his nose and mouth. His pants were off and his shirt torn.
Police questioned several people who were on the scene. One witness told police she had been a party at an address on Preble, near Minnehaha Avenue in St Paul.
She said that some of the girls at the party started fighting outside, and everyone came out to watch.
While this was happening, according to a criminal complaint filed in Ramsey County, she saw a young white man walking into the crowd.
The witness said she saw a person, she called “Bay Bay” hit the man in the head, knocking him down.
She also told police that she saw another man begin stomping the man. Another pulled his pants off.
Sgt. Paul Paulos says it’s a senseless crime.
“He is still alive and is day-by-day,” Paulos said.
The witness told police the man was hit and beaten for no reason. She also identified the attackers as being with the “East Side Boys” or “Ham Crazy.”
Issac O’Neal Maiden, 19, is charged in Ramsey County with assault for committing a crime for the benefit of a gang.
Police say as of Aug. 8, the prognosis for recovery is slight. Should he live, he will suffer permanent and protracted loss of brain function.

Sadly, most whites have been so trained since birth (in school, by the media, and in society in general) that "we're all the same" and to think otherwise is "racist", that a fair number of whites have no recognition that a large pack of urban black people does pose a greater threat to them than a pack of any other people.
While we often laugh at the insanity of political correctness, political correctness can and often does cause deaths of people who have been trained out of logical yet unpolitically correct thoughts.

These numbers are for serious bodily crimes —assault, rape, murder. When does a white man ever rape a black woman? But the opposite takes place all the time, there is a war on white women by black men. This is the real truth that Eric Holder and Jesse Jackson will never discuss in their “conversation on racism” pure BS if I ever heard it.

30 to 50 blacks, a point notably omitted in the article. Also the victim was not simply hit in the head. He was hit from behind by a thug using a full beverage can in a sock. Try that once on a cantaloupe; it’s a powerful, lethal weapon.
This SAVAGE act is encouraged by all of the ‘race rousing’ that OBAMA, Jackson, Sharpton and other A-holes are constantly doing. They must be so pleased that they are starting to see the fruits of their race-rioting campaign.
IMO, they are directly RESPONSIBLE for blacks hating whites!!

Presumably the stomping was head stomping. If head stomping is involved it's almost always black attackers. Other races veer away from an action so potentially lethal, but blacks go right to the head stomping... and in numbers.
Ripping the victim's pants off was meant to emasculate and dehumanize him. The only time I've seen this action is black-on-white attacks.
Damn straight, he should have profiled. It is a legitimate defense mechanism. I don’t care if I insult someone by making sure I don’t end up dead or with brain damage.
Last year, I came upon almost this exact scenario. Big group fighting in the street. My first reaction was to back off, hide in the shadows and retreat. Once I was in a secure location, I called the cops and the mob ran off when the cops started coming.
First rule of the street, never intervene in someone else’s fight. The one thing I knew for sure was that as much as the two groups were brawling, they would have joined forces long enough to beat the crap out of this middle aged white boy.
LOL! Yup. New definition of “several”. I always thought that several was more than two and less than five. Guess it must be part of the new math. And, the child in the stroller was attacked without provocation and overcame the attackers size and taught him a lesson.
