electricity for all those people...”
Only if they can figure out how to get enough power from wind they need to heat, cool and provide electricity for their homes.
Yes he does, and he told everyone he was going to wipe out the coal industry, and he was still re elected. Sucks big time.
Tail Gunner John ~ Are you flat out insane? I live in Kentucky on the Ohio river. There are 7 of these plants within 50 miles of my home. No my neighbors, union or not, did not put this puke obama in office. Close them all?? Where the hell will Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, etc., etcs electricity come from? obamas fn windmills?
Shut them all down in total compliance with the full terms of the end requirements of the law.
Do it two weeks before the mid terms, or a week before "early voting" (or more accurately "early voting fraud") starts.
Give all those rabid environmentalists in the big cities a couple weeks of no/low/intermittent power, and see if they shape up and vote smart.
No Oprah, no Democrat Underground, no Tweets, no elevators, no non-commuter hours subways, limited water, HVACR. They want the 19th century? They can have it.
Right you are. I’ll never vote for another person just because there’s an “r” after their name. I’ve voted in the last two elections for republicans because I was told I’d otherwise waste my vote. Well, I wasted my vote by voting for someone I didn’t believe in. It won’t happen again.
It is insanity to close these plants before their time, and have them reappear in India or China.
I don’t know. I’d be afraid obama’s brown shirts would round up us hillbillies to be put on exercise wheels to generate enough power to ensure Oprah for all.
For that, I’ll make lots of popcorn.
No, zero doesn’t expect them to starve - he expects them to go on food stamps.
Thanks, you save me the trouble.
May coal country forget he basically told them he was going to close them down.
Your comments below are right on. The bottom line. . . . The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. (Psalm 9:17) We have lost our way. . . . Our country has gone mad . . . out of control. No moral authority. As a nation, we are reaping what we have sown.
For me it was McCain. I voted for him to get Palin since I believe in what she stands for. But it was a mistake. It only advanced RINO power, hurt conservatism and led to Romney.
Every election the choice is more liberal. And every election we vote to push that liberalism to the fore one step at a time.
Never again. We are all human. We all make mistakes. But by now anyone can’t call it a mistake. It’s a willful action.
Hard to have any sympathy...
Then they sat out the 2012 election...and didn’t endorse anyone...
The King of Klowns puttin his foot down! But serious, This is what the dictator said he would do and the idiots still voted for him.
I wish there was a different system in place for carrying the electoral votes in an election The big urban cities override the majority of voters in the states - for instance, here in Ohio - Franklin, Hamilton and Cuyahoga counties are heavy Democrat, which means the entire state goes for zero. This needs to be changed.
” We all make mistakes. But by now anyone cant call it a mistake. Its a willful action.”
Yep. These asses already have in place a Hillary- Christie choice for us in 2016. There is no reason to vote anymore, the choice is between bad and worse
The union bigwigs did , rank and file around here didn’t. 2 coal plants closed here. Devastating to the local economy.< p>
Waiting for comment from commander zero.
Actually obama didn’t win the coal regions of PA.
In 2008, the UMW called for a one-day wildcat strike, IN SUPPORT OF OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT.
Did they not think he was going to follow through on his anti-coal agenda?
