President Barack Obama was a lawyer before he became a politician, but on Friday he broke one of the most basic legal rules: He publicly discussed a sealed indictment.
Speaking at a White House press conference about government surveillance, terrorism, and other topics, the president was asked about his past statements that the people who attacked the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, last year would be brought to justice.
We have informed, I think, the public that theres a sealed indictment. Its sealed for a reason. But we are intent on capturing those who carried out this attack, and were going to stay on it until we get them, Mr. Obama said.
While the president of the United States can declassify top secret intelligence information on his own say-so, disclosing secret grand jury material is a different matter. Rule 6(e) of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure clearly states:
no person may disclose the indictments existence except as necessary to issue or execute a warrant or summons.

President Obama is above the law.
Louis XIV supposedly said, "L'etat, c'est moi." (I am the state.)
Obama's motto could be La loi, c'est moi.

“President Obama is above the law.”
If the president does it it’s not illegal. It’s good to be king.

He may have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

This subtle snake did not do this accidentally. It is probably a more recent (meaningless) indictment that was done for show, and was then "inadvertently" leaked by the Master Snake himself, as a way to try and blunt the obvious deliberate indifference of the White House in getting to the bottom of a bloody and embarrassing scandal. Unfortunately the MSM press will fail to even ask "when" the indictment was handed down.
It continues to be smoke and mirrors, 24/7-365. It is what we have learned to expect: All Lies, All of the Time!
