And there is so much worth preserving that really does have to do with goodness in civil rights. Most specially the abolition of slavery and more modernly the demise of Jim Crow, and one of the dirty little secrets of Jim Crow was disarming black people disproportionately. Suffragettes, for better or worse, in a wise people both the men and women will do wise things and will have a broader sense of reality than men only would. And other such things.
Perhaps a mural depicting the truth: Martin on top of Zimmerman and beating his head in. Then DEMAND it be placed alongside the LIE.
Well, maybe one could be placed not too far from the site, if it had to come to that. Someone might have billboards in the vicinity? Still, the idea, if the politician has leverage (if this is a private place then they get to show their lie all they want) is to stress positive things. The civil rights movement as known here has mostly been doing sensible things that people who believe in goodness would also believe in. Why wreck it?
I mean this turns it into a hall of shame or of infamy... again ask them, why are we letting the illustrious civil rights movement be polluted because of a few very loud loudmouths?

I doubt that his birth certificate would matter to his colorolators. (Hey I coined a word.) But it’s just one of those hinky things. I do tend to think that it was one of those after the fact thingies that Hawaii did, and everyone involved is playing games, with a demonic protection of know nothingness.
I believe the name is Swiss. But it’s a typical Jewish moniker. He himself, I think, is gentile. But the way he acted in the fight looks an awful lot like Christian patience to me. Why did he wait to shoot? And I really am angry, though sad, to see how God’s community really has split so badly. There is a commonality between the Jewish, the Catholic, the Orthodox, and the Protestant communities. I do believe Jews can be saved by personal, individual loving faith in Jehovah for salvation and that God will usher these dear people to the cross in due time to show them how He did it. But the communities are so busy damning each other that they can’t see the source of blessing.
Yes and again the reason, that it will wreck lots of good things if it does so.

I feel the same way about a lot of other faith peoples.
The Shepard knows his sheep! He WILL save all that will be saved. In him ALL THINGS are possible!
That’s led to a lot of interesting discussion... God being universally present COULD present a private revelation of salvational love if He wanted... the New Testament does make it clear that the normative practice is to send preachers, and Jesus Himself seemed to be asking for workers (plural), but the Holy Spirit could in principle preach quite well... the bottom line is that Christians should keep evangelizing and seek the blessing of being evangelizers. The Word of God is very solid. There is nothing to be ashamed of in it.
Actually this is a great point... what ever twisted the criteria? Even if Trayvon was the reason by some stretch, he was not 18. None of this hinky business, Flori-DUH, please. Do not be the dunce cap of the nation, Flori-DUH!

However if the person is centered on some actual other spiritual entity and won’t leave it for Jehovah... then sadly they will be lost. I see hell now as more of a kind of eternal sulking place where people who have damned God out of their lives live with the results. They are so enamored of their hate that they wouldn’t ever want to go to heaven except to try to pollute it.
That will be the approach: it does not comply with the rules.
Next item will be: how did this come to be placed here? who approved it? Might push it a bit but, “will they be reprimanded?”
And of course: when will it be removed?
Ah, roolz are for foolz in Flori-DUH... seriously try to keep the distractions to a minimum. It’s basically an egregious skunk in a bowl of otherwise pretty decent punch. If its artist wants to show it, there are many places he can, but not there.
