They go over to Russia with a list of demands and then ask “oh by the way can we have that Snowden guy back?” That’s not going to work.
I also suspect, on some level, that Putin sees himself as leader of a nation and not as a globalist who needs to move his country towards an imaginary utopia where all orders come from the UN.
I think we once had presidents like that. Long ago... far away.
