I have a lot of trouble keeping up with the PC rules.

For example, why is it that “people of color” is politically correct but “colored people” is not (unless you are the NAACP in which case it is still ok)?

I actually have an answer. It's because "people of color" was coined by liberal PC police and "colored people" wasn't. The NAACP includes "colored people" in its name because it really isn't a slur.
