Eliminate welfare, food stamps, section 8 housing and there will be americans lined up to take “the jobs americans won’t do”!!!

Enforce current labor laws and the illegals will self deport!

Conservatism is dead when this happens.

Conservatism, as you define it, is a death threat to all of the demonrat party and probably half of the republican party.

Of course, they all are going to try to kill it before it kills them.

Why would they do otherwise? There is a lot at stake.

Whatever they have done, especially since obama, those are probably not the things they want anyone to know about, other than having things on each other to keep all from getting MAD.

Eric Cantor (R-VA) last Sunday. Cantor .... expressed support for the House version of the DREAM Act, because children should not he held “liable for illegal acts of their parents.”

Held liable? No one is holding them liable. Few seriously suggest deporting them to a country they barely or don't remember being in.

But should they be rewarded for their parents crimes? Cause that's what the DREAM Act does, Eric. You may as well go down to the border and literally lay out a welcome mat.

Yes, they are—a party of incumbents, protecting their perks, health care, and personal wealth accumulation.

” Former House Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ) cut right to the heart of the subterfuge, saying that the Republicans’ promise to act tough on border security while looking to secure amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants has become infuriatingly all-too-familiar.

This is the guy that Arizonans thought was too liberal to replace John McCain.”

McCain ran ads here in AZ 24/7 telling everyone how he would secure the border..21.5 million dollars to squash Hayworth. Hayworth had no money.

And there’s the straphanger rule, too. If the kids are legal, then they’ve got to have their parents with them, and the parents get legal, and then the door is open for entire family groups.

It’s back door amnesty.

“and WHAT...DO...I...GET?”

Exactly!!! This is EXACTLY the point that needs to be hammered during town halls - what benefits come to those of us who ARE citizens, natural or naturalized, be legalizing competitors for jobs that don’t exist?? How are WE to be helped by increasing the population by 12 million immediately (and over 25 million in the near future) when this nation is already bankrupt, there are no jobs for those of us who already live here, and these illegals are about to get all sorts of government benefits bestowed upon them so they can be counted on as a huge voting block?? THESE are the questions that need to be answered.

” JD Hayworth would have been a great senator.”

Yes, but the country club “amnesty” Republicans backed McCain.

Cantor took the Chamber of Commerce cash, and now has to tell lie after lie.

Sequester the military to death, but trillions for illegal law breakers.

I just sent Cantor a very pointed email expressing my opinion of his support of any DREAM-like acts.

“entire family groups”

It’s worse than that.
Back in the `80s when I lived there there were houses in San Diego county warehousing dozens of unrelated illegals.
If any critter thinks that “immigration reform” that rewards bad behavior will resolve the problem and won’t result in more bad behavior—they’re completely delusional.
Or they don’t give a s***. I’m gonna go with the latter: the Democrats are `kicking the can down the road’ and the GOP-e agrees.
This will mean the end of the `Grand Old Party.’

This issue is the Rubicon for the GOP.

Cross it and see what happens.

Once it gets to conference, House Republicans will no longer be able to stop it: only a simple majority of conferees from each chamber will be needed to get the reconciled “Conference Report” floor votes in both the House and the Senate.

Well, according the promise that Cantor made that they would count GOP votes and verify they had a majority of the GOP members (Hastert rule) before any conference bill could be voted on in the House. video link

I don't want any House immigration bill to go to conference, because I know I will hate whatever comes back, but I will not give up even if that happens. In that case, I would remind Cantor of his promise, and make sure he understands that if he broke his promise he (and the other GOP "Leaders")would be remembered as a Benedict Arnold.

Do you mean that we might not get an immigration bill this year, but not deporting the illegals, and not doing anything about the massive increase of leftist voters from current legal immigration policy. would eventually do the same thing?

GOP ready to lose next election by large margins

What difference would it really make if they had D’s or R’s by their names at this rate?

Maybe the GOPe should ALL be voted out of office.
