Well, according the promise that Cantor made that they would count GOP votes and verify they had a majority of the GOP members (Hastert rule) before any conference bill could be voted on in the House. video link

I don't want any House immigration bill to go to conference, because I know I will hate whatever comes back, but I will not give up even if that happens. In that case, I would remind Cantor of his promise, and make sure he understands that if he broke his promise he (and the other GOP "Leaders")would be remembered as a Benedict Arnold.

Cantor is cited above as being for full path to citizenship but only for those now adults who were here as kids, not the kids or those who came here grown.

Not surprising as it sounds compassionate, but if a real bill gets crafted you know it will be crap.

Dems would probably go for that as I said before.
