This is because Obama is really dumber than a box of rocks. He's a puppet. Everytime he's out there is a gaffe. The MSM should be having a field day like no other with his stupid remarks...he's made more than Ford or any Republican would ever hate to be.

As I’ve said on FR for years...

If Baraq had a 1600 SAT, ripped the LSATs, and was a 4.0 in college, those documents would be framed in gold and hung on the wall of the WH Press Room.

Yes, Obama had made more gaffes that Bush and Palin combined. He is incredibly inept and lacking in class - not presidential. And MSM acts as if no big deal. Yet when Ann Coulter made s minor comment regarding John Edwards - and it was no gaffe - they harped on it for more than a week.

You need to know what a gaffe is. If it’s a liberal, socialist gaffe, it’s factual.

Odrama is preposessed.

hes so unsure he will be able to pull off his JIVE ..that he sublimates various parts of his “message”...[ everything but the BOASTING LIES ] .

His inappropriate FOCUS on pulling off the LIES is so overpowering that stuff he “should” know... just slips down the rabbit hole as though he suffered temporary selective amnesia.

Hans Christian Anderson must have had a view of the future when he wrote The Emperor's New Clothes (1837). Obama's ignorance is naked to the world yet the MSM only sees and writes about false perfection.

I heard Rush say Sarah said she could see Russia from her house. I reminded him Tina Fey said this on SNL and the MSM passed it on as news. I can’t believe Rush fell for that.

I was yelling at Rush (or, my radio) when he said that! I couldn’t believe he said it...and, that he didn’t know it was Tina Feh who actually said it - in a skit.

I didn’t hear Rush today, but read a discussion this AM at Lucianne on the Leno interview gaffes. The story was at Newsbusters.

I’ve become ‘bams amateur arm-chair psycho-analyst; I’ve followed every story I can find that might offer some insight into this character high-functioning basket-case, beginning with the first email story circulated during the election of ‘08.

You may recall that one; it speculated that ‘bam was a malignant narcissist. It was cogent and well informed, but my hunch is that it was shy of the mark— ‘bams no narcissistic malignancy, he’s a full-blown Socio-path. Again, that’s just my hunch and I’m no psychologist— though I’ve seen enough of them.

The report of the Leno interview brought this to mind— and its just the latest of many documenting his countless errors, contradictions and blatant lies. Just as interesting is his total lack of concern or fear of consequences for such irresponsibility.

I recall an observation made somewhere, to the effect that garbled, dis-ordered, illogical or just incomprehensible verbal presentation was typical, perhaps even a hallmark of the sociopath. They seem to live by the old dictum: ‘If you can’t bedazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh!t” They are capable of coherence only in the mimicry of someone else. They invest their mental resources in how they say things and reserve none for comprehension of anything they say. There are no mental resources left for understanding or remembering any of the words they launch,it’s all “sound and fury signifying nothing.”

Here’s the problem: I’m not sure of the original source, and have not been able to find any discussion that might support this claim. If there are any freepers can steer me in the right direction, I’d be grateful.

This much is certain: ‘bam is not stupid. He is cold, incapable of empathy or sympathy, calculating and ruthless. He is good at his game (having practiced it and refined it for as long as he can remember), has a good sense of timing, and combines a lighting-fast strike with the patience of a tick waiting to drop on a host. He is also charming and charismatic to the point of being hypnotic. These traits are typical of insects, reptiles and sociopaths.

I don’t think we’ve ever seen his like in high office before.

When in the past are you referring as Rush today said "RUSH: By the way, folks, just to remind you: Sarah Palin never, ever said that she could see Russia from her house. Tina Fey said it on Saturday Night Live impersonating Palin, and it became popularly assumed by people that Palin actually said it. She never said it. Yet Tina Fey impersonating Palin saying that she could see Russia from her house became one of the primary reasons for Republicans to run around saying, "Well, this woman's not smart enough.

"This woman is an embarrassment! We can't have this woman in our party running for president. What an absolute embarrassment." Republicans, Democrats, everybody bought that she said that. It's embarrassing. The closest Palin ever came to saying anything like this was that you can actually see Russia from land there in Alaska, which is true! You can see Russia from parts of Alaska. She never said she could see it from her house.

When did that happen? I missed part of Rush’s show today, but I heard him say that Tina Fey made it up.

Rush commented that Sarah Palin, when being interviewed on TV back in 2008, said that you could se Russian Territory from Alaska, which of course is correct.

Rush actually corrected that a few lines later (see the transcript.) But while I was listening, something else popped into my mind, which I’ve not heard discussed:

Obama: “You know, the Panama Canal is being widened so that these big supertankers can come in. Now, that’ll be finished in 2015. If we don’t deepen our ports all along the Gulf, places like Charleston, South Carolina, or Savannah, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida, if we don’t do that, those ships are going to go someplace else. And we’ll lose jobs. Businesses won’t locate here.”

Forget the locations gaffe — what’s this nonsense about those ships (supertankers) going somewhere else “And we’ll lose jobs. Businesses won’t locate here.”

If there is a demand for oil that domestic sources cannot fulfill (and WHY would that be, Mr. Obama?) foreign sources WILL fill it, barring an embargo or a war. They will simply send it here on the same ships they do now, and it may cost a bit more than sending it on the new bigger ships. In fact, the deeper ports make foreign oil more competetive with domestic oil. Now one can have a howling good argument about whether that is ultimately good or bad, but the basic argument being made by Obama about the need for deeper ports is just ludicrous.

There is a further contradiction with Obama’s own policies in that the goal of bringing in more oil efficiently doesn’t sound particularly “green” to me. Sure, the transport is greener, but the usage of the oil being transported is surely the bigger factor. (That’s IF you buy the anti-oil bunk in the 1st place.)

If the deeper ports are needed for U.S. export trade, or military needs, etc., that is something else. But that’s not what Obama is saying at all.

Personally, it seems to me we’d be better off taking the money (for the deep ports) and using it to develop domestic oil supplies further. Obama would never do that, though.
