i’d make another call, but this time ask when your healthcare subsidy is coming, because - i am assuming - you make less than the average staffer in congress, and if they can’t make enough to pay for obamacare, how they expect the rest of us to pay for it and make enough to live, is beyond me.

I sent an e-mail to my local Senators asking if it was true they had exempted themselves. Then I said, “If it is true” and proceeded to blast them, especially the Congress Critters who had voted for Obamacare.

Now that Obama has promised them their subsidy, the staffers are now asking for this to be extended for their lifetime.
Moreover, since their health care plan can be considered as a “Cadillac plan”, they want the Cadillac plan fine (e.g., $5K per year) to be waived as well ... forever.
