Once again, Barak Obama stood before the American people and said nothing. Well, not exactly nothing, he spoke for over an hour but after its conclusion one had to ask, What was THAT all about?
This speech was touted as one that would announce a great economic plan and lay out details for getting the economy booming again. Instead, it was more of a campaign, political speech with nothing but attacks against his opponents and downright anger over what he calls phony distractions.
Instead of identifying and providing solutions for the problems facing this nation, he once again blamed the rich and the 1% for the inequality in America. He continued to push his class warfare agenda while at the same time tying it up with a ribbon around the Republicans neck. He kept pushing the mantra that the Republicans were the only reason that the country wasnt advancing, not once looking at his failed policies.

The empty shirt flaps his gums again. Ho-hum.
Pssssst.... It’s a secret, but Obama doesn’t write a word of the crappy drivel he reads.
I’m serious.
Psssst... it’s a secret, but US Presidents don’t write their speeches, US Congresscritters and movie stars don’t read your postcards, TV anchorpersons don’t write the news they read.
He always says nothing, that’s what he does is say nothing..
the only ones that listens to him are people read into nothing, something..
Barry is the real life Chauncy Gardener.. it is not an act..
Some democrats noticed that he could say nothing well..
So, that’s what he does.
Obama: the Seinfeld president.
Obama’s speeches are always about nothing ... always. And no one holds him accountable for anything. He will go down in U.S. history as the first two-term, vacant Oval Office president. As such he is the perfect icon for the failed policy of affirmative action. He was awarded a Nobel Prize before he even did anything. What a joke.
Whatever happened to the soaring truth of MLK Jr.’s statement, that a man should be “judged by the content of his character, not by the color of his skin”?
But gee, thanks again for mocking my reply.
No disagreement there. The biggest problem is that those speeches, whoever writes them, are filled with boilerplate platitudes. Compare to Reagan’s speeches.
He’s a real nowhere man,
Living in his nowhere land,
Making all his nowhere plans
For nobody!
I would agree. He’s suffering from the Chancey-syndrome...talking excessively but saying nothing. He gave some speech in Milwaukee about three years ago, and I listened through to the entire speech. He did his accent-trike, tossed in some fake promises, and then did the anti-Republican chant. Crowd loved it, but if you were listening purely to the radio...not watching it....you really got a different prospective of the whole speech.
I think by 2030...most historians will try to avoid listing his various speeches or using snipets of them for their reference to the Obama-era. As much as his speech ability got him the job....it’s now a boat-anchor...holding the administration to one tight spot.
Who’s the lady in the photo?
FYI...

I have to vote "present" for that.
True, dat! Ask someone, "quick, think of a quote from Reagan" and one might easily respond "Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall!". Or a quote from Kennedy, "Ich bin win Berliner!". But try and think of anything quotable or memorable from Obama. Nada. President Zero fits hit so well.
All of Obama’s famous quotes can be found on an Obama Bingo card. Shouldn’t the speechwriters get a clue and stop using the same old cliches that were becoming a running gag in 2008?
