I’ve only ever used aspirin since 3yrs old. At 63, I’m doing fine.
Aspirin should not be taken regularly except under doctor supervision. If you do take aspirin daily, it should be low dose/baby aspirin. However, aspirin is not for everyone. I was told after my cardiac arrest to take low dose aspirin. Tried it. It made me violently ill. No more aspirin.
Only a small percentage of people have the wet form of AMD, which is a disease of the older adult - not children or young adults. Asprin is still a good idea for most of us, but those with microvascular disease need to be cautious with asprin.
