Didn’t they have to BUY the vodka before they could pour it out? How does that bother the distillers? And aren’t half those brands actually made in Latvia and other countries, not Russia? LOL What can we do to get them to boycott Texas?
Moreover, for some people this action would be the best commerical to buy the vodka.
As for the country of origin, some brands are made in the U.S. (Smirnoff).
If anything, it's a "plus" for Russian vodka manufacturers. In spite of all the rampant political correctness, most heterosexuals still think it's an insult to be called gay.
Next time I buy vodka, it will be Russian. (That may be a while, though, since I don't drink.)
Ha—probably just water in empty bottles.
My guess is there were very few actual bar owners there. Why should the bar owners give a rat’s ass about what they’re doing in Russia? Probably a few out of work actors and actresses making a living tending bar who took some empty Stoli bottles, filled them with water and headed to the protest. Look at the folks in the picture. Kids. And union hacks. Not bar owners.
I read somewhere that Stoli’s is made in Luxembourg.
Stoli has two distilleries. The Stoli that comes to the US and Canada is made in Latvia. The other plant is in Russia and it sells to the rest of the world.
