The strategic answer: Christian churches JETTISON their "Federal Contractor Status" as IRSW 501 C-3 tax-exempt "secular corporations" ...

Did Jesus Christ pay His (due) taxes to the Pagan, Goddless Roman Empire ?

Yes ... in His statement "Render Unto Caesar" ...

Then "why" do American Christian Churches feel that they are "better" than Him ?

They do have altar girls but after ALL THESE YEARS there are still no women priests.

Point made but our Tridentine Mass form of the Latin Rite does not allow female altar servers either.

Excellent post. Truly sober reading. Some good comments here on FR, also.

1995 - Scott Lively’s and Kevin Abrams’ controversial book, The Pink Swastika: Homosexuality in the Nazi Party, was published. Its theme was that “butch” homosexuals within the Nazi Party contributed to the extreme militarism and barbarism of Nazi Germany. The authors maintained that a key to understanding the cause of the German social collapse, which culminated in the atrocities of the Third Reich, was found in the conflict of Hellenic and Hebrew (Judeo-Christian) value systems. This war of philosophies, as old as Western civilization itself, pit the homoeroticism of the Greeks against the marriage-and-family-centered heterosexuality of the Jews. Although the Nazis included homosexuals in their persecutions (though at a much lower level than homosexualists contend), the homosexuals they persecuted were almost exclusively the effeminate members of the homosexual community (who they claimed were also very active in the communist party, and therefore political rivals) in Germany. Lively and Abrams also contended that much of the mistreatment in the concentration camps was administered by masculine homosexuals who despised effeminacy in all its forms. The book, and authors, have been subjected to heavy criticism from the homosexual lobby and others. Lively is an author, attorney, and activist, noted for his opposition to LGBTQ rights and his involvement in the ex-gay movement. He is the president of Abiding Truth Ministries, a conservative Christian organization located in Temecula, CA, and the former state director of the CA branch of the American Family Association. He is currently being sued in federal court in MA for inciting persecution of homosexuals during a Uganda speaking tour in 2009. The financial backer of the plaintiff is billionaire financier, 1-world government advocate, and financial donor to many left-wing causes, George Soros. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) designated Abiding Truth Ministries and The American Family Association as hate groups.

True.
The Latin Rite was very nice, wasn't it? Now, it doesn't matter what language is spoken, the Mass can be said in the vernacular of any country/culture.
I suppose that's why so many of the Orthodox Churches have rejoined Rome. Latin was one of the original reasons for the schism.

We spent Christmas in Cairo one year. The Mass was in Arabic, Latin, French, English, German and English...bits and pieces. The Pater Noster was in Latin, as I recall. It was the midnight Mass and ended at 2:30 A.M.!! It was really quite beautiful and amazing.

We had asked our Arab taxi driver to wait for us, thinking it would only be an hour or so. I was SO glad that he HAD waited until the Mass ended.

18 ... Even many Episcopalian churches still resist the feminist heresy. The Episcopal diocese in my own Ft Worth is one that separated because of the degeneracy of what that pit of vipers had become.

Just picking nits ... wouldn't it be more accurate to use the term "Anglican" than Episcopal in this case since TEC has gone completely apostate regarding ordaining women, homosexuals and marrying homosexuals? Is the church you are referring to the 1 in Plano, TX?

That sounds like an interesting experience!

I have attended the Byzantine Rite a couple of times when a visiting priest celebrated it and hope to get to a Maronite Mass in Portland, Or, later this summer or fall. Our own NYer is the official outreach/evangelist for that rite :<)

It is rare to see any church following the bibles prohibition on women teaching in the churches (1Timothy 2:11-13, 1Corinthians 4:33-35).

++++

I’m a member of WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod)
and our membership believes the bible is the inspired word of God. We are often criticized for not allowing women to teach or preach. Some say our women members are treated like 2nd class citizens. Nothing can be further from the truth.

Shamefully, other liberal churches choose to condemn us as much as non-believing feminists. Most Christian churches in the U.S have fallen away from the word of God. Leadership positions have been infiltrated by secular humanists and homosexual sympathizers. The Bible means little to them and will only twist and distort their meaning to justify their liberal teachings.

It has already happened to me and others that were members of a church here in Australia. People that stand for the Word of God are demonized as hateful and mean spirited and everything that, supposedly, makes for being a very bad Christian. There is no intellectual discussion or theological to and fro on the issue their arguments are purely based on emotional rhetoric.

People I know from those days who were basically sitting on the fence on the issue (and who did not leave the church)have ended up as radicalized pro-gay puppets.

Those churches who intend to stand against the tide better now put in place strategies that thwart the attempts of the homos to tear apart the church.

Spiritual warfare! Satan is on a rampage in ALL areas. God’s Word, Money, health mental/physical, children, etc. He attacks ALL but MOSTLY those doing the work of The LORD and that should be no surprise.

This is more than just homosexuality. Think about it, the whole world is in on this except for a few countries. Never thought I would say it, but God bless Russia for standing firm, so far. This is the Devil’s last stand, the ultimate middle finger to our Lord. I tremble too at what is about to come, especially for our children.

I wholly agree. Homosexuality is just one of many permutations of self-idolatry. God will have the last word finally. But we are in for unspeakable evil that even we cannot fathom until that final reckoning.

I do understand that some liberal Jewish traditions DO have women rabbis now. Maybe I'm wrong.

You are not wrong. Some of the more liberal Jewish 'temples' have female rabbis, but as a Jewish friend of mine told me, some of those temples don't even teach belief in God as a requirement to be Jewish. I was dumbfounded when she said this, and my question was if they still consider themselves to be the "Chosen People, just who do they think CHOSE them?"

Lol. Incredible, just incredible. Why even join a congregation? Maybe they have great luncheons every third Tuesday of the month. :o)
