I agree the widespread use in certain circles is problematic. At the same time, did most of our families teach us that our manners should be lowered based on what other people do. I am always so surprised that so many Freepers are so opposed to traditional manners and culture and want to destroy it as much as the left. It doesn’t seem very conservative.

Traditional manners are great. But in general violating manners doesn’t get one fined by the boss and sent to sensitivity training, it just means you’re rude and people make fun of you later.
