GULFPORT, FL - Gulfport police recently released surveillance video from a school bus that shows the bus driver's perspective of a beating earlier this month.
In the video from July 9th, the victim is sitting in the second seat of the Pinellas school bus with his head down. The violence starts as soon as he stands-up to get off the bus.
The bus driver, John Moody can be heard yelling for somebody to try to stop them and calls dispatch for help, "I got a fight. I need help in a hurry, I got a fight I need help in a hurry."
The punches and kicks continue, and the victim falls between the seats. At one point you can hear his screams on the video. The bus driver yells at the attackers, "leave that boy alone," but doesn't try to intervene physically.
Then he again calls dispatch to verify the address. "Get somebody out here quick, quick quick they're about to beat this boy to death. There's nothing I can do...please send somebody," said Moody.
According to Pinellas school bus driver policy the driver's first duty is to call dispatch, and only has to step in if they think it's safe. They're not required to intervene.
Gulfport Police Chief Robert Vincent has publicly questioned the driver's lack of action even after the offending teens had left the bus. "There was time for him to intervene and or check on the welfare of the child in this case. He didn't make any effort to do so and that's what we want to bring to the attention of the prosecutor," said Chief Vincent.
Police investigators turned this video and other evidence to the state attorney's office. Prosecutors will determine whether to charge the driver with child neglect.

Consulting the official excuse book as to why black attacks on whites are never hate crimes, this attack would likely be chalked up as "just bored teens".
The victim looked NOT like a son of barack.
They actually show the kids pictures and names in the second video.
Shouldn't that be part of the national conversation on race that Obama wants us to have?
As the policeman/woman was placing the handcuffs on him he/she would be saying, "You should have called us and let us handle it."
Nope. Wrong colors. Black on White, no hate crime. White on Black, hate crime.
Now, back in the olden days, if something like this happened, the bus driver would pull the starter of the fight out, personally throw them off the bus and forbid them to ride it again. The perp would then often have to walk many miles home.
But, that was then.
This is typical of black thugs — they gang up on their lone victim. And clearly they knew about the bus policy since they had no fear of the bus driver who should be charged with cowardice in the face of the enemy. I would call him a pussy ass cracka.

Maybe the victim ‘dissed’ the losers... you know, walked behind them, made an ‘A’ - has a father...
Or minutes before the gang of bullies beat the crap out of the 6th grader, could they have been eating skittles? And isn’t that all that matters?

Gulfport School Bus Beating: Bus driver John Moody will not face child neglect charges
The white parents should be charged with neglect for putting their child in that bus.
Close enough for the racebaiters to consider him White. After all he was working. That is considered by them to be acting White.
Every driver should be armed with a nice nightstick.
The bus driver was damned either way. If he had intervened they would have charged him with hitting a minor.
No way would I drive a school bus. The last kid off says the bus driver touched my butt and you are on the list of sex offenders. You step in on an incident like this and get with child charged Abuse, You don’t step in and you get charged with child abuse.
This is a hate crime , but no black will be charged with that.
These three little Trayvons will have their Grand mother’s in court saying what great kids they are.
