Public information officers for the City of Seattle have been advised to stop using the terms "citizen" and "brown bag" -- as in brown-bag lunch -- saying they could be offensive to some city residents.
Elliott Bronstein of the Office for Civil Rights circulated the memo encouraging government employees to avoid using the potentially offensive terms.

I want - no, I DEMAND that the secretarial product called "White-Out" be banned forever.
I mean, isn't it obvious that they want all white people gone?

Where “citizen” and “brown bag” are offensive and verboten: that is territory to be avoided by sane citizens.

So I guess that the public informatuion people will now give relases that say “people with things did stuff.”
Good thing we’ll get accurate non-offensive information.

You’re offended. They’re offended. And that means ‘what’ to me?

Victor Klemperer was the cousin of Werner Klemperer who played Col Klink on Hogan’s heroes and also cousin of composer Otto Klemperer.

I was listening to Glen Beck’s new online radio show the other day and he mentioned that “politically correct” or PC was coined from the Communist reprogramming camps. If you expressed ideas not in sinc with the current political regime’s line, you were not “politically correct” so you were taken to be corrected.

Funny that you mentioned that, because I was curious if he was related to Werner. I still get a kick out of Hogan’s Heroes.

Still okay if you’re wearing a Citizen watch and a hoodie and eating Skittles out of a brown bag, just before you snap your cap and attack someone. Thanks ConservativeStatement.

Must be white folk code words. citizen=commie brown bag=black folks. Id be willing to bet that citizen is some how seen as a taunt by legal citizens to illegals.
