Washington has been abuzz for months over the fear and loathing that Congressional staffers have for Obamacare. Many staffers and employees on Capitol Hill have been saying they'll have to quit Washington if they are forced into Obamacare. Now the President is promising to fix it all for them.

This is the straw. They do this and it will be hell to pay. They can’t put a nasty law that is screwing up our finances and medical coverage and yet they exempt themselves. Oh no they don’t. Oh hell no.
Why aren’t members of congress, much less their staffers, enrolled into ObamaCare? Why isn’t Obama and his lovely family? All executive branch employees? State, county and municipal bureaucrats? Public school teachers? Answers, please.
Congress is just trying to follow the rule were the captain abandons ship first, like Ted Kennedy with the SS Oldsmobile.

Senator Burr (NC) and the Chairman of Way & Means are both against this.
Ditto for Senator Grassley, who wrote the measure that included Congress and its staff.
This is do and die time for the GOP.

Make your calls and blast McCain! No special exemptions for Congress and their staff!
Good (on the so called “brain drain” the dump that would happen would be a Godsend to this country and many of these staffers are as corrupt or even more so than their “Masters”.
Starting over with staff of real people is ONE simple thing that needs to happen in Washington, D.C!!
(Oh and I forgot to add that D.C. doesn’t have any brains they’re practically zombies anyway feeding off the rest of us without producing any real agricultural or manufactured product)!~
I share your anger and fury. I feel the same way. I loathe these slime bags. On the other hand, I am 1,000% cynical of the government. They WILL put out a nasty law that screws up our finances and medical coverage, and they WILL exempt themselves and their cronies. They will do it, because they can, and they WILL get away with it. Odumbo and his rat friends have never been held accountable for anything, why should we think they will be held accountable now? I know, that is cynicism with a capital C, but I just don't think the rats will ever be held accountable. Let me say it again, I utterly, totally, completely, 100% loathe these slime bags. It keeps me warm on cold nights.

any republicans who vote to exempt themselves using same lame excuse that they remove obamacare for some ppl and is the first step, need to be removed from office
