IRS chief Daniel Werfel says he wants to keep his health care plan, not switch to Obamacare:

"Mr. Werfel, last week your employees who are a member of the National Treasury Employee's Union sent a form letter for union members to send in to ask they be exempt from the exchanges," a congressman asked. "Why are your employees trying to exempt themselves from the very law that you're tasked to enforce?"

"I don't want to speak for the NTEU, but I'll offer a perspective as a federal employee myself and a federal employee at the IRS," said the IRS chief. "And that is, we have right now as employees of the government, of the IRS, affordable health care coverage. I think the ACA was designed to provide an

I'm a retired federal employee covered by the FEHBP, Federal Employee's Health Benefit Plan, and I want to keep this plan as my current health care plan, too. And I don't want the prices to skyrocket, either. No way do I want to go on Obamacare. I'm as helpless as the next citizen as to what the government is going to do. I just roll with the punches and I hope the government doesn't rain any more punches down on me.

I'm not eligible for Social Security because my work time is federal, I don't have enough credits to qualify for Social Security and even if I did, the government would take back approx. 60 percent of it in the 'government pension offset' which prevents government retirees from double dipping.

As far as healthcare goes, SS doesn't come into play. It is whether or not your eligible for Medicare. It is my understanding that if one is eligible for Medicare, Medicare becomes the primary provider and your regular insurance becomes secondary.

You, Capital Prick at the I.R.S. will rot in hell.

Let's cut this guy some major slack. He got before the congress and the cameras and spoke the unvarnished truth.

This is not some union Poe from the NTEU. He is an executive lever manager and he just kicked a big bunch of excrement in the administrations face.

It will be interesting to see what they do to him. I am thinking he will be heading up the new IRS office in Benghazi.

Speed reading not my forte. The way things are slant reported these days, it’s hard to differentiate the good guys from the bad.
