California Attorney General to Feds: No Handguns For You
CalGunLaws.com ^ | C. D. Michel

Apparently, Attorney General (AG) Kamala Harris has changed California State Department of Justice policy and is now limiting federal law enforcement agents’ ability to acquire handguns. The AG says the feds can only buy firearms listed on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale (like the rest of us).

Understandably, federal law enforcement officers aren’t happy about it. Welcome feds, to the California disarmament festival.

The arrogance and unmitigated gall of Kamala Harris never ceases to surprise me.

The language against guns is an addictive arrogance machine for marxists. They will play the guilt up around to anything and everything. It is the language of depression and repression, total castration genocide.

Sorry but, ONLY ON THIS ONE POINT, i have to agree with Kamal Harris. The rule of law has to apply to the masters and not only to the peasants.

“Tyranny is defined as that which is legal for the government but illegal for the citizenry” -Thomas Jefferson

Why should a Federal Officer be able to purchase a gun for his personal use that I cannot purchase.

He is no better than I am. Let’s be fair.

In fact why should he be able to carry if I cannot?

So are all handguns banned in Kalifornia because they are “concealable”?

Yep, the LEOs in New York City got pretty indignant when it became clear that the law applied to them as well. While I find the California laws to be outrageously unconstitutional it’s still amusing to hear the squealing when they’re applied to Special People as well. They shouldn’t be applied to anyone. They shouldn’t be, period.

Disarm the Disarmers

As I understand it, the California disarmers (state & local l.e.o.) are allowed to buy unlisted weapons, but the law that allows for this exception neglected to include federal l.e.o.s. So the state elete are still allowed to buy firearms forbidden to the peasantry.

Federal leo’s are not the disarmers. They consistently vote for gun rights and protest gun control. The doj’s actions are basically reducing the number of ccw’s by off duty leo’s. Which is a bad thing.

Perfect. Now all they need to to is extend this to all kalifornia police agencies as well. No cop needs more than 6 bullets.

On the plus side, the complaint filed in US District Court, Pena et al v. Cid, which was filed in 2009 is getting clos to being heard (pretrial conference Aug. 20th) and the whole roster idea stands a great chance of being thrown out. So strong are the constituional argumenst against it, that other localities that wanted to copy it, notably MD & DC, were strongly advised by their legal counsel not to and did not.

It’s hard to believe but at one time California was a mecca for gun owners.
