Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) said Wednesday that comprehensive immigration reform has the support of dozens of members of the Republican majority in the House of Representatives.
Among GOP backers of comprehensive reform he cited Wisconsin’s Paul Ryan, the 2012 Republican candidate for vice president.
Gutierrez said 195 of the 201 Democrats in the House would vote for a reform bill similar to the one passed last month by the Senate, meaning that fewer than two dozen Republican votes would be needed to reach the magic number of 218 required to pass it.

Congress should pass an immigration bill, but they shouldn’t pass the current bill. Congress should pay for a brick wall, along the Mexican border. Congress should triple the fines and prison terms, for employers who hire illegal aliens. When illegals can’t get work, they’ll leave the U.S. If any money is collected, from those fines, that money should be used to hire more patrol agents.
My friends in New York are already working on Rep. Grimm.
Any REP who voted for Boehner to be Speaker is also responsible if Amnesty passes the House. His/her vote for Boehner was a vote for Amnesty.
I wrote to my rep that he can expect to lose a lot of support from conservatives when amnesty passes. There is no way that an amnesty bill should have passed with a GOP majority in the house and enough votes in the senate to filibuster. When this passes, I'm voting a straight democrat ticket in 2014.
He forgot to add,"Who will be out of their cushy jobs next election"
This so called Immigration act, should be called the One Party Rule Act, because it is an attempt by the Demon Rats to legislate the Republican Party out of existence. The RINOs are helping them.
The consensus now is that the GOP will have to pass immigration in stages, not as a comprehensive bill.
Luis must like raping 9 month old babies to death or is he into 93 year old grandma’s. Every vote for reform is a vote for rape and murder. Just don’t forge a passport more than 3 times.

That is why the Senate Bill won’t come up for a vote.
I will vote third party if there is a choice. However, if when the RINOS pass this amnesty, they need to be driven out of office. I will vote 'rat if that's what it takes to get rid of these traitors.

Vote third party and you’ll get the same results but won’t feel bad for voting for a democrat. I couldn’t stomach voting for one.
