THERE is something missing from the endless moralizing and sophomoric jokes aimed at Anthony D. Weiner. That something is the role of women in a coarse and creepy Internet culture dedicated to the fulfillment of both male and female desires for virtual carnal knowledge.
People ask how Mr. Weiners wife, the soulfully beautiful and professionally accomplished Huma Abedin, can stay with him. My question is why hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of women apparently derive gratification from exchanging sexual talk and pictures with strangers.
These women are not victims of men like Mr. Weiner (or of ordinary, obscure sex seekers in the digital world) but full and equal participants. There is no force involved here; people of both sexes are able to block unwanted advances. Women are certainly safer on the Web than they would be going home with strangers they meet in bars.
Nevertheless, the female thrill seekers are as bewildering in their own way as the sleazy would-be mayor of New York is in his. Why is he called a pervert while Sydney Leatherss statement that their Internet contact progressed to phone sex twice a week a fantasy thing for both of us, she told one tabloid TV show is greeted with neutral, if not exactly respectful, attention? Some fantasy. Cinderella, where are you now that we need you?

PUKE!
Wow. Looking at “fish mouth,” I would understand why she would consider Huma “beautiful.”
with a mouth like that, she could retrieve nickles from below storm drains.
Oh, and how does one explain that over 70% of young women support Weiner? It's a mystery to me.
I read somewhere at some time, that sex sites are mainly looked at during people's workday. Take a sandwich to work and use lunch time to cruise the sex sites, write on those sites or write on single’s sites.
I recall in a county where I lived, we had a candidate for county office, who, before he was a candidate, was a member of a single’s website and his opponent found that, and spread it all over the county. What the candidate said about himself on that site, wasn't x-rated, it just didn't jive with being a serious candidate for office. He wouldn't have done that after he became a candidate but the damage was done. When you write it on the internet, there it is out in the world.
Many people can't see that, so they sit in their house with their computer, and don't use restraint.
I worked on a court case where a county judge used his office computer to go to sex sites and that's why he ended up in a court case. He shouldn't have since there were no rules about using work computers for personal use. It was his poor judgment that caused that to happen.
Look at Weiner’s problem - the internet and he couldn't control himself. That was a bomb waiting to happen. There was a woman willing to have internet contact with him and knew who he was. That was poor judgment on her part, too.
Think before you write and think about the website you are on before you write. A fake name does not get that off your hard drive. Deleting it off your computer never completely deletes it, either. It's still on your hard drive. In that court case, two computers had erased data but the cop computer types got the hard drives and there it was.
Due to that case, I was on sex websites, didn't write anything, was looking for certain pictures and from then on, I got popups on my computer from those sites until it was time for another computer. If you go to those places, they will stick cookies on your computer, suck off your IP computer address, and you will get messages and popups. And, now days, just look at a pair of shoes on some shoe site, such as Daniel Green house shoes, and go to any website after that, and there are Daniel Green shoe ads. You will get followed by what you do on the internet.
Yes, I bought a pair of Daniel Green slippers and I guess I'll see those ads forever.
I’ve recently found that SUPERAntiSpyware program which you can download from CNET finds and deletes more of those tracking cookies than any other software, and does it without deleting the cookies which allow you to log in quickly to your usual websites. I’m running it as we speak and expect it to find over 500 cookies to delete even though I last ran it just last week.
*shrug* She got a pearl necklace...
“Who am I to judge?”
Tell me about it. I'll frequently do a web search to fact check before I make an FR post. Since amongst many other things I run the Nut-Job Conspiracy Theory ping list I've attracted a decidedly, ummm, eclectic suite of spammers...
"Soulfully beautiful?" She looks like something Yassir Arafat crapped out and called a baby. I must be missing something.
Big mouth and teeth that can mulch trees

Ha. That’s funny. At least they aren’t sex stuff (I guess).
