DETROIT (WJBK) - The bad news came in broad daylight that 45-year-old Deon Taylor of Detroit was dead inside a building.
"He was a very loving, strong man," said daughter Deleesha Taylor.
"His children are devastated. His grandchildren are devastated, and all I can say is we're trying to deal with this. It's hard," said sister-in-law Ramona Harper.
"I don't know what's going to happen now. He had 24 kids," said sister Jacqueline Taylor.
24 children are waiting to find out who or what took their father from them far too soon. Deon's cause of death is currently a mystery.
"I'm going to miss him a lot, and I know that he's in a better place. It just sucks that he can't be here with us," Deleesha said.
"My father meant the world to me. There's not a person in this world that didn't like my dad. He got along with everybody. That's why I don't understand how this could happen," said son Dwane Taylor.
That is what DPD is trying to determine. Homicide was called out because how Deon took his last breath was not obvious or clear. Cops crowded the corner of Colfax and Warren in Detroit Monday searching for evidence and any possible clues.
Sources said Deon was last seen inside the building around midnight. Although there is no signage outside, there are often signs of life inside. We learned the building is frequently used as a night club or party spot. Family and friends said Deon was last seen there getting ready to celebrate the success of one of his sons.
"Getting the place ready for his son's graduation party, which his open house was supposed to be this weekend," Harper said.
When no one had seen or heard from Deon, they had a feeling something was wrong, and sadly they were right.
"I know deep down in my heart he served his purpose here on earth," Deleesha Taylor said.
We learned Deon was found by his brother.
Meanwhile, police will determine how their investigation should proceed after they receive the medical examiner's report.

Oddly enough (and I say this tongue in cheek) once I got the faucet flowing, I couldn’t turn it off. Got pregnant 6 weeks after the birth of my first child, lost that baby in miscarriage. Within 30 days, was pregnant with my second child. Four years later, WHILE ON BIRTH CONTROL, got pregnant with my third and finally got tubes tied. That was not how I expected that whole thing to go.

They REFUSE to see the obvious reason for the disproportionate percentage of Blacks that are incarcerated, because they commit crimes at a disproportionate percentage. THEY ARE CRIMINALS! Whites see this as good reason to lock their car doors when a Black male approaches. Is that fear irrational or justified?
If four or five young Black males are hangin out on a street corner is it irrational to think they might be dealing drugs? No, because they probably are.
If four or five young Hasidic Jewish males are hangin out on a street corner is it irrational to think they might be dealing drugs? YES! You more likely would think they were praying.

Blacks are so stuck on having a “Black” (African) identity that they ignore their “American” identity.
I'm half French (mother)and strongly Irish (father's side, but way, way back). Since my father's relatives were early settlers in the new world, I find the Irish heritage merely amusing. My French heritage on the other hand is recent. I have been to France to visit relatives three times. They have come here many, many times. We communicate today on Facebook. I am proud of my French heritage, but I fly an AMERICAN flag. I don't wear wooden shoes or drink wine. While on occasion I'll have some Camembert cheese, I eat mostly “Swiss” cheese made in America.
In other words, being French doesn't define me. It's a huge part of me, yet I don't wear a beret. I actually have a very good French accent. While I speak some French, I don't speak English with a French accent. Nor do I mix in French words with my English to form some quasi ethnic language.
Why not? Because I'm an American! I'm not a “French American”. I'm not an “Irish American”. Just “American”.
Black, African American, Negro, or whatever name you find necessary to define (segregate) yourselves by, is the root cause of all your problems. Black first, American second is a philosophy of failure. Blaming slavery for everything, (or ANYTHING), is a red herring and a crutch. An excuse! Get over it! You were never a slave. You never knew anyone who was a slave. Slavery (in America) is a thing of the PAST!
STOP doing what you are doing or you are going to keep getting what you are getting.

Blacks will never solve their problems by blaming whitey. The blame lies with themselves. Make your kids speak ENGLISH only. Make your sons pull their pants up, no backwards ball caps. Ban all offensive music. No hos, no bitches, no profanity, no violence. No gangsta ANYTHING! IT’s NOT COOL. Enforce a curfew and a dress code for school. Attend church every Sunday with your kids. A bible believing, gospel preaching, non political church. You may have to attend a majority white church. What a good place to display the values of a righteous “Black” family.
In conclusion. I never think of myself as “White” or “Caucasian”. I have no concept of what that even means. I have never even contemplated my “race”. My so called “race” has no impact in my life whatsoever. I never consider it. I refuse to identify a race on IRS, Census or any other form.
Blacks, Negroes on the other hand see EVERYTHING through a Black lens. Race FIRST! Unless this changes, there will never be peace. The solutions for all your problems are in your own hands. Imposed solutions have never worked.
It's up to Blacks themselves to make it so when people see four or five young Black males hangin out on a street corner, that they assume they are praying, talking about college, or waiting for their white friends.
Jeez, I guess he was LOVING to each other those 24 kids moms... and I bet there were 20+ moms.
