Sybrina Fulton repeated her assertion that neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman "got away with murder" in the 2012 killing of her son largely because of Florida's self-defense law, which generally removed a person's duty to retreat if possible in the face of danger. It was the first of its kind in the nation when passed in 2005. Now, about two dozen states have similar laws, but the focus of repeal efforts is squarely on Florida.
"We have to change the law so that this doesn't happen to someone else's child," Fulton told reporters

Although he was not part of the event, the Rev. Jesse Jackson appeared as a spectator and later told reporters that the "stand your ground" law reminded him of past laws that prevented blacks from sitting at the front of buses.

The Justice Department is investigating whether Zimmerman, who identifies as Hispanic, may have committed a hate crime in killing Martin.

The left wants to disarm non-violent law-abiding citizens [code words for WHITE] and leave guns in the hands of violent criminals [code words for you know what]
So that the ‘oppressed’ underclass will be able to waltz right in and take what they want from the ‘oppressors’
That’s why!
Oppressors is a code word for White.
Oppressed is a code word for non-White.
“I think what many people are missing here, because they are sane and rational, is that the facts of the case are not relevant to the target audience for this message. If you are not familiar with the communities to which this message is intended, you might project on those communities that the facts are more important than ethnic solidarity. If you dont understand cultural differences, you could easily misunderstand how others think. Although the facts dont remotely match the narrative, the people perpetrating the mythology know that facts are not important. What is important is what team you are on and that all others who are on that team know what point of view is acceptable if individual team members are to avoid ostracism. I know this from pesonal experience.”
HELLO finaly someone gets it! Exactly!!! Same reason 95% voted for zerO! Facts and the truth don’t matter. In fact they don’t even exist in their minds!
Know wonder Trayvon was a thug- His Father is a thug and apparently his Mother is too.
where’s the duty on the attacking thugs to retreat?
your son was a thug burglar ma’am. deal with it. you know that it’s true.
And since the government is backing their efforts, the best whites can do most of the time is to stay away from blacks. The government knows that we see that and attempt to do it, so they are implementing a push to open up communities to “their share” of diversity through Section 8 and Agenda 21. So, since whites are not to defend themselves, nor to avoid blacks, judging from the government’s policies, the only conclusion is that the gov wants a race war.
SYG and concealed carry empower the individual to defend lives and property under attack. In the abstract, by advocating the repeal of Florida's SYG law, the Martin family and their enablers are now advocating reduction of the power of the individual in favor of the power of the state. In other words, Martin's parents seem to be advocating statism at the expense of individual liberty.
What Martin's parents should be advocating is an increase in moral family values. The lack of the instillment of moral family values encourages inner city children, particularly male inner city children, to lie, cheat, and steal. However, advocating stronger moral family values would require the Martin family to recognize that they themselves are responsible for the death of their son by not bringing him up properly.
Just watched a Steve Harvey standup “Don’t trip, He ain’t through with me yet”...
