All of the hosts have made a mistake endorsing Cheney in the race against Enzi. They both suck.
This being said, I agree Rush has to up his game. Less low-information voter news. I get enough of that crap on Fox. I want to hear his political commentary.
Well it is certainly true that people, probably like you, and certainly like me, who spend more time than they should on FR know the facts. We've read the news.
You are right about wanting political commentary. We want to know the implications of those facts. What today's news means going forward. Rush can be good at that. Lately he hasn't been.

I was never much of a fan. Now that I am retired, thus not in the car much, I rarely listen to him. I have to assume, though, from the tidbits I do hear, that he is trying to appeal to the low-information voter. Why else does he beat each issue to death? I don’t need to hear it repeated over and over to get his point.
