Obama: Mission Accomplished??
or not just yet?
The stats for child hunger are typically predicated on the question “have you ever gone to bed hungry in the last year?” Never mind whether the kid was in fact given a full healthy meal and didn’t eat it because he didn’t like it, choosing to sleep hungry rather than eat Tofu Vegetable Medley.
And don’t start me on obesity being the predominant health problem of the government-defined “poor”...
“Our two political parties are sold out to Americas neo-aristocrats.”
And they’ll continue to do so until almost all of the rest of the population is in a sort of debtor neo-serfdom.
“Lastly, it will be a long time before you see another Republican President. Democrats have perfected fraud to the ultimate level.”
That only matters if you believe that there is a difference between the gop wing of the uniparty and the ‘rat wing.
I’ll make a prediction: the uniparty will win in 2014 and 2016. By a landslide.
“We are heading into the darkness, and most dont know it. Even on a board like this.”
Yup. Normalcy bias.
“Obama: Mission Accomplished?? Or not just yet?”
Not even close. So long as we possess so much as an unharvested organ, or a bone that could be ground into fertilizer, the mission will not be accomplished.
The bold part is the key phrase.
Everyone who has never lost a job or lived paycheck to paycheck EVER please raise your hand.
very true
Yeah. When I said Republican I meant a real one. Conservative.
Most of the “poor” don’t live a poverty lifestyle that would be recognized as such in most of the world.
Flat screen Tvs , 300 dollar sneakers, smart phones, etc etc.
AND where else are the “ poor” the fattest citizens?
But even many of those with no or low income each year are the privileged kids of the upper-middle class—in school, interning, looking for a professional-track job or in that initially low-paying first job.
Or, they are the late-in-life wealthy who own their homes outright and live a good life on moderate investment income and/or spending down accumulated assets.
