"We can boycott Florida, cut conventions in Florida, for its 'stand your ground' laws," said Jackson, speaking on a panel at the National Urban League's annual conference in Philadelphia. "If we can boycott South Africa and bring it down, we should boycott Florida and bring it down."

Years ago I started accumulating a list of all the retail stores that were declared “off limits” by FReepers. It didn’t take long until flea markets were the only alternative left for shopping.
Lucky Florida. Keep the riff-raff out.
Actually they should come to Detroit. Then they can explain why they don’t want to boycott Michigan which has almost the exact same stand your ground law as Florida.
Reacting to these people isn’t working, we have to force them to fight by our rules.
California jury instructions regarding justifiable homicide:
"A defendant is not required to retreat. He or she is entitled to stand his or her ground and defend himself or herself and, if reasonably necessary, to pursue an assailant until the danger of (death/great bodily injury/ [insert forcible and atrocious crime]) has passed. This is so even if safety could have been achieved by retreating."
I’m from Texas, how can we get on the boycott list?
Stand your ground wasn’t even used in the Martin/Zimmerman case. It was self defense.
“Can someone please explain to me how stand your ground is a racial issue?”
Sure, that’s easy. Because it’s part of the group of everything of which nothing is excluded.
Maybe we could entice leftists to leave by giving them all free houses in Detroit?
FU jesse.
Jesse is under direct orders from the White House to keep the unrest train rollin’.
Obama can’t figure out how Bill Clinton was so successful using these tools and he - Obama - A HALF BLACK MAN - can’t seem to get the same satisfaction.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Obama physically slapped Jesse across the face in the oval office. ...a limp wristed slap with a little bounce on his toes when he did it.
Like a 70s pimp steppin’ out on the boulevard today with platform goldfish aquarium shoes - when the geers and laughter erupts its just hard to feel sorry for such a fool like Jesse. He so old school.
If we get a SYG law passed here in Va. will he promise not to come here, ever?
Come on down and buy a Kel-tec. Made in FL, guaranteed for life. Don’t even know my little .380 w/HP’s is in my pocket.
And now I ALSO carry a cool stainless-steel lock-blade that you can open with your thumb. 440 S/S, hand-made in Pakistan, from a gun show. Nice knife. Belt clip it on the belt.....
I’m sure all the blacks who work in the hospitality industry will be thrilled to hear this, especially those who may be laid off as a result.
Mr. Jackson’s relevance is just about as gone as Pat Quinn’s. Is he expecting blacks to leave florida? Is he expecting people to research everything they buy and reject anything that is made in Florida? how exactly does one boycott an entire state.
But let’s say that Jesse’s intent is for every black to pack up and leave Florida. What would be the impact? what would change?
Exactly. We should be forcing these idiots to fight the whole war instead of letting them create a Florida diversionary battle.
Hey Jesse, Illinois has a stand your ground law and has since the 1960’s.
are you going to pack up and leave Chicago?
PLEASE????
Actually I think it is. Fox News stated that 33% of the time it was used successfully was by African Americans, and less than 10% was it used by Caucasians.
Just plain dumb....After Tray had finished killing George, Tray would have been tried under stand your ground...and would have gone free.
It was originally written in cursive.
Yes Jesse, all you guys can go to Liberia and boycott the whole country for SYG (most places have some form of it).
