The House Ethics Committee is launching a full-tilt investigation of Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota.
The committee announced on Friday it had received a referral from the Office of Congressional Ethics, an independent investigative body, and said in a brief statement that it would formally investigate the one-time Republican presidential candidate.
A lawyer for Bachmann had previously acknowledged the investigation by the OCE and said that Bachmann was cooperating. That probe is focused in part on her short-lived presidential bid.

Seems silly to me to go after her. I don’t believe she did anything wrong. Too bad she isn’t President right now. FREEPERS didn’t want her. I live in Minneapolis and I too believe that the Chicago hit men got to Michelle. Something happened, and overnight she changed. She's not running for re-election.
Some Goon must have threatened her or her family.
The goal is to crush any opposition or dissent from the party line. The democrat communists and their republican lackeys are going for the throat. Welcome to one party communist rule. ANYONE involved in any way with the federal government are considered to have become comprimised, and are for all intent and purposes, enemies of the US people. The federal government has all but declared war on the states and their citizens. This is what the makings of a fascist/communist takeover looks like.
Oh there's no doubt she's ticked off enough of the GOP establishment for them to cause her trouble. I'm just saying she doesn't need Obama to do anything, and Obama knows he doesn't have to. He'll just sit back and let the Republicans eat one of their own.
Meanwhile, we are learning exactly how right Michele Bachmann was about Huma Abedin.
It wasn't just Freepers, Naps. Most Republican voters gave Bachmann a pass, as well.
She may have the sort of ideas and convictions we'd like to see in a President, but she doesn't have the character of leadership required for the job. At least not enough for folks on this side of the aisle. Dems will elect a nobody without a resume, who's never run a lemonade stand.
