I lost my loving, handsome, beautiful husband 3 years ago due to illness and I can’t listen to music yet at all. I cry at almost every song and I wonder if I ever will appreciate music again. I know my circumstances are totally different and she’s a whack job, but I resent this whole story on so many levels. It honestly has made me sick!

Hugs girl

It takes a long time but joy will come back

no one’s journey is the same as that of anyone else

when I lost my child, I thought I’d never be happy again or feel joy in the things that brought me joy in the past

But about 3 years after his death I did catch myself
humming along with the Christmas music in the mall. Then I had to deal with the guilt of knowing I was moving on

Life without them is never the same honey, but it does get better and it does get good again, just in a different way with a wiser kinder you carrying their memory with you like a treasure

You take care of you and be kind to you
