~Favorite Songs about Men~

Neil Young Old Man

"Old Man"

Old man look at my life, I'm a lot like you were. Old man look at my life, I'm a lot like you were.

Old man look at my life, Twenty four and there's so much more Live alone in a paradise That makes me think of two.

Love lost, such a cost, Give me things that don't get lost. Like a coin that won't get tossed Rolling home to you.

Old man take a look at my life I'm a lot like you I need someone to love me the whole day through Ah, one look in my eyes and you can tell that's true.

Lullabies, look in your eyes, Run around the same old town. Doesn't mean that much to me To mean that much to you.

I've been first and last Look at how the time goes past. But I'm all alone at last. Rolling home to you.

Old man take a look at my life I'm a lot like you I need someone to love me the whole day through Ah, one look in my eyes and you can tell that's true.

Old man look at my life, I'm a lot like you were. Old man look at my life, I'm a lot like you were.

Kansas - Carry On Wayward Son

Refrain} Carry on my wayward son There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry no more Once I rose above the noise and confusion Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion I was soaring ever higher But I flew too high Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man Though my mind could think I still was a mad man I hear the voices when I'm dreaming I can hear them say {Refrain} Masquerading as a man with a reason My charade is the event of the season And if I claim to be a wise man, well It surely means that I don't know On a stormy sea of moving emotion Tossed about I'm like a ship on the ocean I set a course for winds of fortune But I hear the voices say {Refrain} No! Carry on, you will always remember Carry on, nothing equals the splendor Now your life's no longer empty Surely heaven waits for you

I developed a Music Program for people with Alzheimers Disease. It was a trip across America with songs for the major highways, cities and states.

“Charlie on the MTA” was my song for Boston.

I have several recordings of “The Messiah” and they are all slightly different.

I think Greg Lake was only 15 years old or something when he wrote that song! One of my favorites.

Another one is “Working Man” by Rush. Was the first song that got radio play. And the rest is history.
