More diversity for the sake of diversity.
According to a police report, an officer dispatched to check the well-being of the woman that day found her covered in blood in a bedroom. Officers said they discovered (Sergio Martinez-) Perez nude and on top of the woman in a bedroom that had blood on the “walls, floor, ceiling and bed.”
The prosecution said that Perez admitted to police that he beat and raped the victim “because he was angry at women after a night of drinking.”
He allegedly beat and raped her before falling asleep on top of her about 9 a.m. Perez was found naked and passed out on top of the victim, according to police.
The victim’s cheekbones, nose and several teeth were broken in the ordeal. She remains hospitalized at this time in serious condition.

It’s crimes like this why I’m against the prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment. Then again, I don’t think that there is a punishment cruel or unusual enough for a man who rapes and beats a ninety-three year old woman.
