I'm an 8th grade teacher. This past year, I taught a male who dyed his hair pink with purple highlights. He wore high heel shoes to school one day.

He complained that the other kids kept staring at him. Seriously, you have pink hair and you are surprised at the attention that brings?

At least he had a little group of "fag hag" girls who kept him company. I don't think I taught any boys who would befriend this girl.
