George Zimmerman saved that man’s whole family yet he can’t bring himself to stand up and publicly thank & support him. Probably voted for O; in fact I’d bet on it. What a coward.
Shannon, the man has a wife and children. There are times in our lives as men, we have to stuff what we would like to do, and remember who comes first. That man’s duty is to his family. I’m not going to fault the guy at all.
In his heart, that man is gratefull. At the scene, I’ll bet he made it very clear how he felt about it.
If you’ve every done something great for someone else, you don’t need to be thanked. It’s nice. In time you forget about it. You’d think that would be the one thing you’d never forget.
Instead it’s your moments of frailty that rise up and haunt you.
the idea of a press conference was silly to begin with... heroes don’t rescue others for public accolades... would there necessarily be a press conference had the rescuer been someone other than GZ?
A coward indeed.
“George Zimmerman saved that mans whole family yet he cant bring himself to stand up and publicly thank & support him. Probably voted for O; in fact Id bet on it. What a coward.”
That man is already being hounded by the leftist media and his identity and personal info has already been exposed by the left to the hoards of “revenge-seeking” Trayvon worshippers. Try putting yourself in his shoes for a change and you might just find that you understand his decision to at least TRY to keep his family safe from the same persecution that Zimmerman is now undergoing. Had he appeared publicly and thanked Zimmerman, the left would descend even more viciously upon him and his than they already are.
We are already living in a society based on mob mentality and anarchy. The left has already won.
