I wonder if they were paid a visit and by whom. I wonder how much $ they gave them.
Zimmerman needs to sue everyone, get his money and leave the country.
What about those Navy Seals in Benghazi who rushed to help those people in the Consulate? They knew they were going to their death. This couple, if they appeared on tv to thank Mr. Zimmerman, would not be facing certain death.
Now Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, and other lib/commie, faux humorists will spread the lie that the couple won't appear because the incident never happened, thereby deepening the hatred against the good George Zimmerman :-|
When people who have done nothing wrong are afraid to appear in public, isn’t that the goal of all terrorists?
I’m not seeing the dilemma here. A man saves your life, the least you can do is to thank him. It’s not necessary to do so publicly or to the media. As long as he’s square with George one on one, that’s all that’s necessary. Somone needs to tell this guy to just ignore the media, take care of his family, and put this behind them. If every celebutard that goes into rehab is “entitled to their privacy” then this guy sure as hell is. He needs to be a man and think for himself and not through some PR agent.
Since I can’t think of something new to add, I shall Post a previous comment I made on another LIBERALS HATE GZ Thread.
>”So, the Democrat Obama Voter and his Family are afraid of the other Democrat Obama Voters because they were rescued by a Democrat Obama Voter”<
I think that about sums up the State of the Union. Thanks.
Keeping silent about is the like saying you agree with it.
Sorry but these people are standing on the same moral ground as the Germans who kept silent while they marched Jews to death camps.
The guy saved their lives and they can’t open their mouths to say so in public .... Zimmerman risked his life coming out of his truck to save theirs
The race baiters get away with this BECAUSE PEOPLE COWER AND KEEP SILENT
This moral dilemma is interesting to think about, especially if you think of it in terms of, “What would i do?” I’d be the last to judge him because we only have a portion of the story (the media version).
Half of me wants to accept the fact that he should be putting his family’s safety first. (Shoot, for all we know, his wife is the one who is scared and made him back out by threatening the couch treatment.)
Having said that, what does this teach his kids?! It teaches them to be loyal ONLY if it’s convenient and won’t cause any personal pain, that’s what it teaches them. It teaches them to be a wimp when you’re bullied and to turn tail and run like a whipped dog. It teaches them it’s preferable to crawl into a hole to hide when things get tough instead of standing up for what is good and right and Godly.
Zimmerman risked injury to himself to save this man’s entire family, for crying out loud! And not only that, now the “Hate Zimmerman” mob is claiming the rescue didn’t happen (or was staged)? And this couple can sit there and watch that and STILL do nothing to stand up for the man who helped them?
I wouldn’t climb into a foxhole with either one of these people! If this were my husband, i would be ashamed of him and have no respect for him if he didn’t stand up. As long as he consulted me first before going public, i would EXPECT him to stand up for Zimmerman.
Maybe they have some dirt on one of them, like an affair or an addiction or something.
There was some other guy there, who was as involved in the rescue as GZ, or possibly more.
AFAIK, his name has not been reported, and nobody is going to hold a press conference to publicly thank him.
Is there any particularly logical reason this family should be giving more publicity to GZ simply because he was recently acquitted in a high-profile trial?
When it comes down to being a hero or making sure my family is safe you can call me a coward also.
IMO, the worst thing about this is that in the “on the hour” type MSM reports I heard (including Fox), crawlers at screen bottom, and even in short stories in some newscasts, etc., this was made out to look like the family didn’t want to be associated with Zimmerman because though he may have helped them, they thought he was still a bad person. The family’s fear of retribution if they thanked GZ publicly was not referenced. This is of course how many people get most of their news.
(Granted that most written articles and longer reports from at least a couple of the major sources seemed to be, shall we say, more complete.)
But overall? Bloody bastard MSM!!!
This just stinks.
However... Manure makes pretty good fertilizer. This family’s fear, and the death threats against Zimmerman’s family can be used to our advantage.
I am OK with this, in fact I see it as an advantage for Zimmerman.
They should have just released a statment along the lines of “we are grateful to George Zimmerman who helped us out of the car accident and wanted to publicly thank him but unfortunately the negative bias in the media forces us to think it is unwise to appear in public at this time.”
Must be a lot of sucking on the liquid courage bottles tonight. Lots of Rambos in here.
