They can’t figure out how to balance their checkbook but they have the time to meddle in the affairs of the state of Florida.

It may have run out of local affairs to make wretched messes of, so it's going national.
They should be more concerned about indictments coming down on their own heads.
Truly amazing that the Detroit City Council, facing huge and enormous challenges at this time, has time to wade on this. No wonder the city is bankrupt.
I want to see George Zimmerman send out a press release calling for an investigation of the Detroit City Council’s running of the city.
These people (council) don’t care about solvency. They don’t care about anybody or anything except whether they can still get a check from the city government. Since they’re on the top teat, I expect they’ll be sucking on it until a bankruptcy judge yanks them off.

Now that the Detroit city council has Detroit squared away they are pleased to have the time to reach out and help the rest of the country.
Somebody needs to auction the dais, chairs and microphone used by the bankrupt Detroit City Council.
I read the headline and thought “investigating the charges” meant investigating why someone would charge an obviously innocent man (probably based on George being profiled by race by local government). That seems like a civil rights violation to me.

I think we can kill two birds with one stone here. Obama should use imminent domain to seize Detroit and incorporate it into the Justice Department. Then, he can bail them out without bothering to go through Congress, and appoint the City Council to investigate Zimmerman.
