Trayvon Martin’s Parents Rich After HOA Settlement, Merchandise Deals?
The Inqisitr ^ | July 18, 2013 | Patrick Frye

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Trayvon Martin’s parent’s settlement with the Retreat at Twin Lakes Home Owner’s Association is believed to be higher than $1 million.
.
.
.
In the same time frame the lawsuit was filed, Sybrina Fulton also filed two petitions to patent and trademark Trayvon Martin merchandise including the phrases “I Am Trayvon” and “‘Justice For Trayvon.” Such Trayvon Martin merchandise is turning out to be quite lucrative for many seeking to profit from the George Zimmerman trial by pandering to both sides of the issue.

While Sybrina Fulton already had a $68,768 salary with the Miami-Dade County government, Trayvon Martin’s mother received a eight month paid vacation worth $40,825. Such Trayvon Martin donations only soared higher as time went on.

Posted here on FR right after Trayvon’s death. Mama T lit out and secured the rights to his name for future sales benefit. Fine family. Just about as sweet as Mary and Joseph.

They lost their son. But they feel they got something better - a lot of money.

Wonder if she wanders around singing a certain Dire Straits song.

The new Revolutionary Uniform will be a Che beret, a Palestinian scarf, and a hoodie over a Trayvon t-shirt. Throw in some Unibomber sunglasses (for the environment, you know) and you have the complete ensemble for next year’s Occupy Wall Street reunion.

Not just that HOA. All HOAs and all homeowners will see their rates go up based on the expectation that more parents will trade a thug son for a big insurance check. It’s a sad lesson to teach other parents: If you fail in raising your child, you can still get ric

Correct....the settlement will mean higher insurance rates for all HOAs owned by this group...which means higher HOA fees for all

The real “no limit” thug, in our White House

If memory serves me right, Trayvon's facebook name was NOT "No limit" thug.

Why can't we use the actual name he gave himself?
I can't accept that the freedom of speech of racial thugs trumps everyone else's.

It don’t matter how money they got, inside of three years, they will be broke again. It will go into their arms, noses , and up in smoke. One thing for sure, their and the media’s angel was worth a hellofalot more to them dead than he was alive.

kind of like that woman in Baltimore

I agree. I'd make book that the extended "families" will suddenly become extensive. Remember: success is relative -- the more success, the more relatives :)

Sharpton also owes a couple of million to the IRS. What a wasted life.

They may be coached, but once they cash that check, they won’t want his advice any more, plus they’ll see him as sometime trying to “get something” from them; which indeed will be the truth.

THEN the parental units will soon be at each other’s throats as well. It’ll be kind of interesting, actually.

Very good point. I hadn’t thought of that.

I live in a state where it’s almost impossible to get a CCW permit so it will be interesting to see if that applies here. Thank the Lord I’m leaving soon and won’t again live in an area that has an HOA.

They’d be SOL anyway, even if the insurance policy has a much higher limit than the original settlement. You can’t file a lawsuit and collect an insurance settlement, then go back later and decide to file another lawsuit over the same thing.

Right. I’m sure that’s standard for any insurance settlement in a case like this.
