It’s effective in getting the point across. That’s why they’re upset.

Truth has a way of disturbing Liberals. Want to make a conservative mad? Tell him a lie.
Want to make a liberal mad? Tell him the truth.

The Jena Six needs to be hanging with them.

We could also add the recent “truth lynchings” that Sharpton wasn’t directly behind, such as the Duke Lacrosse Team fiasco, but I don’t think there’s a tree branch long enough to portray it accurately...
To: kevcol
Sharpton was on the wrong side of the Duke lacrosse fiasco as well, although he wasn't as prominent.

It is Sharpton who is appalling. He is a serial lynch-mob leader. The problem with the cartoon is that is speaks truth far too loudly for some sensibilities.

There is a special Hell waiting for “Reverends” like Sharpton and Jackson.
I feel really sorry for them. They’ve wasted so much.

Outstanding and remember... THOSE RECOILED BY THE TRUTH ARE BORN OF THE LIE AND OWE THEIR SOULS TO THE PRINCE OF LIES!

What's “most disturbing” about the cartoon is the lynchings Sharpton lead or joined that it left out.
Most prominent nationally were “Duke Lacrosse” (mentioned by prior posters) and the “Jena Six.” But I'm sure given enough time a book could be written with much more of the same from then life of Sharpton.

The only disturbing thing about that cartoon is that Sharpton has been allowed to get way with the lynching of the truth for so many years.
To: cripplecreek
Yes, it’s way, way over the top. Should not have been published.

Like the saying goes, if you want to make a conservative mad, tell a lie. If you want to make a liberal mad, tell the truth.
