That is debateable.

The first time I saw an actual DI we had come out of
receiving, while waiting for a platoon to be formed.
They took us to the mess hall for breakfast.
There were all these guys that looked like prisoners
sitting there eating “square” meals, when a DI jumped
up on the mess table and began kicking the trays into
their faces and screaming obscenities at them.
I knew then, it was not a good sign.

Ah, the memories...

Simply cannot imagine the depth of the feelings a recruit and soldier goes through, you all are true heroes.
