Sources told The Dispatch this morning that Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer has dismissed No.1 running back Carlos Hyde, who was named as a person of interest in a weekend assault against a female in a Downtown bar, and that he is still looking into a situation regarding starting cornerback Bradley Roby in Bloomington, Ind., over the weekend.
According to Monroe County court records, Roby was arrested early yesterday morning in Bloomington and is facing preliminary charges of battery resulting in bodily injury. Sources told The Dispatch he was asked to leave a bar after a disturbance, refused, and was subdued by bouncers at the bar before being taken into custody.

As noted later in the article, this thug is on all kinds of NFL radars, and I don't doubt that the National Felons League will welcome him with open arms.
I note with interest that according to the article, he "opted" to return for his JUNIOR year, which is his fourth year in school. meaning, he's taken four years to do what you're supposed to be able to do in two. He must be taking REALLY tough classes to be on the six year (and counting) plan. His major, you ask? Molecular Biology? Differential calculus? Applied physics with a concentration in fluid dynamics? Nope, wrong on all counts. His majors, according to the university's athletics web page, is African hyphen American and African studies.
Shades of Dallas Carter HS.
Virginia Tech had to do the same. Player’s GirlFriend was attacked by player’s Ex-GF and he got involved in the fight.
I’ve jested with an O.U. grad friend that to win big games the team members have to be sprung on weekend release.
I’m not really too far off the mark.
If Urban Meyer cleans it up, hurray.
Urban is doing some legacy repair after Aaron Hernandez
bingo
To prevent duplication, please do not alter the published headline, thx.
Meyer is feeling the heat after Aaron Hernandez.
Meyer was Aaron Hernandez coach at Florida. Did he learn from the experience?
Ohio State fans are now learning the additional joys of having an Urban Meyer coached team.
There is hardly a college football team that doesn’t have this kind of crap going on...that’s why I’m on the verge of stopping following it.
I realized that when I root for the Gators, I’m cheering the laundry only, not the guys wearing it.....and I just don’t need it anymore, until it gets cleaned up.
But were any Buckeyes arrested for barking at police dogs?
To quote another Freeper, Trayvons will be Trayvons.
“Sources told The Dispatch he was asked to leave a bar after a disturbance, refused, and was subdued by bouncers at the bar before being taken into custody.”
Lot's of jobs in the race-bait industry with Jackson, Sharpton, et al.
You can take the thug out of the ghetto ... taking the ghetto out of the thug is more difficult.
Yes, they were, and they are long gone.....I really don’t care how they do anymore...I can’t root for thugs.
Screw ‘em. I can’t wish enough bad things on that cult.
Was Hernandez a murderer at Florida, or did Urban Meyer teach him to be a killer?
